Kudos to YDS and Maribeth! Colleen, Wanted to say thanks so much for putting my mind at ease when I was away. I really appreciate the care Clayton received and especially the daily update text messages I got from Maribeth. I was so worried about Clayton, since he's been through a major adjustment with our recent move from Florida and he's spoiled. I am very picky about how things get done with Clayton and Maribeth followed all my notes and instructions perfectly. Clayton seemed absolutely fine when I returned home. Thanks again. Both Sara and Tam watched over my 18yr old Husky, Nakai. He was in great hands and I didn't worry about him during our whole trip. Sara also watched my son's 10 mo old Pitt, Mia Moo Cow and again, we had no doubts she was in good hands. We recieved daily goofy pictures of her (Mia, not Sara). I enjoyed reading their daily notes on both dogs, upon our return. I would definitely recommend YDS for any pet sitting needs.

This was my first time leaving Toby after less than two weeks in our new apartment and I was incredibly nervous about how he would do alone all weekend.  I really shouldn't have worried, Toby loves his mid-day walks with Julia and didn't seem to notice I was gone.  When I got home he was napping and was in no rush to wake up and greet me.  Once he finally decided to get up he was very happy to see me, but I was so relieved to see him so relaxed and comfortable even though he is still adjusting to the new place.

After interviewing several pet sitting services and then meeting Colleen, I thought that Your Dog Smiles was for our family, and I was absolutely right.  The anxiety that I felt when I left my 2 very large, very hairy, very excitable dogs--(a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd)--for the first time was almost overwhelming.  My mind was quickly put at ease when I got the first (of many) texts from their sitter, David.  Knowing he was there to provide their daily medicine, walk, play, feed, and give them the love that I couldn’t for a few days was so significant to me.  I received regular updates while gone and a summary when I returned.  David spent extra time ensuring that they were well played-out and content before leaving the house.  I absolutely recommend YDS to anyone who is contemplating hiring their services, and I will absolutely use them in the future to care for my girls, Freedom and Zoe.  My family and I thank you so much for being so accommodating, caring, fun, thoughtful, and for treating our girls as if they were your own.

Ever since we met with Colleen to begin service with Your Dog Smiles, we have been impressed. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and it is such a relief to not have to worry about whether or not our pets would be taken care of. When we went to the Caribbean for our wedding, Your Dog Smiles stayed over and took such great care of our cat and dog, sending pictures and putting our minds at ease while we were out of the country.

Wow what can I say about "Your Dog Smiles", Colleen and her company is awesome! She does a phenomenal job of making sure that Katie is well taken care of. From the very beginning she took the time to come meet me and Katie and for the last year Colleen's services have worked out so well. She is always quick to reply to my last minute, desperate requests for walks. Even with the short notice is is sure to provide the best she can for Katie and that may be sending John to the house for the rescue. I never feel as if a stranger as been in the house, but rather that one of my friends popped over to help me out. It sure makes for a happy doggy. It is so wonderful to have peace of mind know when John or Colleen will be over to visit Katie. I know Katie really enjoys the visits as well. It's a great way to break up her day! I am very happy with Your Dog Smiles. They take the time to know how to care for your pet for a routine visit and in the event that there is an emergency. They leave detailed notes about how the visit went, so that you don't have to wonder. I will certainlty call again-my pets were happy, so I'm happy!

Colleen and Gwen love our dog, Simon, and he loves them. Simon is a rescue with a history of abuse and is usually nervous around new people, especially those who come into our home. From minute one, he was completely comfortable with Colleen and Gwen. We know that Simon is in caring, safe hands with Your Dog Smiles.

Your Dog Smiles goes above and beyond standard dog walking service. I am always notified about any change in behavior or health with my older pug. The other day my dog broke his nail off and it was really bad. Both Colleen and Sara offered to come over well after hours and help. I tended to him however on my own. The next day Sara notified Collen that my dog was obviously still very uncomfortable and Colleen took him to get a cap put on his nail. I have never seen such service and true concern about every animal these hard workers come across in my life. If you are looking for a service for your pet, these are the people to trust.

Colleen - I wanted to "THANK YOU" for taking care of BAILEY for me. I know sometimes the notice is short, but you always make sure he is taken care of. You are a true godsend to me and Bailey, and extremely happy I finally found "THE ULTIMATE DOG WALKER/SITTER" in this industry. I have tried and been thru many people and mishaps, and you have far exceeded any expectations I had or could possibly want. The TLC you have given Bailey due to his slight disability means more to he and I then you could ever know. Living in Herndon, and working in Baltimore....I NEVER once had to worry that Bailey was not out and/or taken care of and that is huge burden off of me knowing that. YOU are a blessing to say the least. Keep up the great work, and I am glad it took my move to Virginia to finally find the best in the industry.

Hi Colleen, This note is long over due. I have been meaning to tell you what a great service that Sara provided. She is so caring and sweet. Even my neighbor who is home during the day commented positively about her. He said, she was there for the entire time that she said she was there (unlike our previous dog walker) and that he could tell Dash got a good work out. Sara left detailed notes which we very much appreciated. Also, it is hard to explain but I could just tell that Dash loved Sara. I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a great person you have working for you, not that you don't know that already. Dash and I miss her and hope that both you and Sara are doing well.
