Payments: All Payments are due before service begins.

Mid-Day Visits
For monthly flat rate mid-day clients. Checks may be paid for services. Check must be received by the 10 for the 15 of the month renewals. Checks must be received by the 25 of the month for 1 of month renewals. If we do not receive checks by these dates we will charge the card on file on the 11 for the mid month renewals and on the 26 for the 1 of month renewals. Any payments made after the 15th for mid month renewals or after the 1st for first of the month renewals will receive a $20.00 late fee. Any payments not made within 15 days of service will receive an additional $20.00 late fee. The monthly plan is a flat rate that does not include holidays or weekends. The rate does not change with cancellations.
For non monthly flat rate mid-day clients. We will charge your card the Wednesday before the start of your service week. Anything scheduled within that week will be charged same day.
Pay as you go visits
Will be billed to your card the Wednesday before the start of service or same day if in the same week. Visits not paid in advance may receive a $1.50 fee per visit. Any payments not made within 15 days of service will receive a $20.00 late fee.
Early morning, Evening and Weekend Visits
Will be billed to your card the Wednesday before the start of service or same day if in the same week. Visits not paid in advance may receive a $1.50 fee per visit. Any payments not made within 15 days of service will receive a $20.00 late fee.
Pet Sitting
50% non- refundable deposit at booking. Remainder week before start of service. Holidays - 100% non-refundable deposit at time of booking. We do not keep this deposit for the company. We give it to our sitters when we are unable to rebook them. They are unable to take other jobs when they commit to you and while they love what they do, this is their lively hood and how they support their families. Thank you so much for this understanding in advance.
All other Services

Holidays
A small fee will apply to all Holidays which include Federal Holidays starting at $5 a visit. Please refer to our User Agreement for a complete list of our Holidays and associated fees.

No Refunds on any cancelled services
Any cancellations that meet the cancellation policy deadline will be credited to future service.

General Policies: Our Policies that allow us to provide the best care possible for your pets. Subject to change at anytime.

All new clients require a meet and greet.
For Dog Sitting - no less than 2- 30 minute visits per day. When dogs do not get enough human interaction some can develop separation anxiety(Not including client departure and arrival dates.)
For Cat Sitting - no less than 1 visit per day. Sorry we do not offer every other day.
Cancellation Policy - For non-pet sit services we ask for at least 24 hours notice to avoid fee. Any non-pet sit services that are cancelled within 24 hours, a fee equal to the price of service, may be received if we are unable to provide adequate notice to our sitters.  For monthly plans,  please contact the office before the start of your billing cycle.  For pet sits, deposits are non-refundable unless the sitter can reschedule the time lost.
Keys - We recommend a lock box.  If you prefer to provide us with keys then we ask for at least 2 sets to keep on hand.  More info on this is enclosed with our new client set up.
Leashes -  Your Dog Smiles will no longer be using Retractable leashes in an effort to keep your pets safe.  Retractable leashes are one of the number 1 causes of lost pets.   If you prefer to provide your own leash please provide a non retractable leash.   Sitters will come with their own non retractable leashes should one not be available.
Pet Vaccinations - We require all pets to have current rabies vaccinations and licenses(where applicable).
Last Minute Requests - We do the best we can to accommodate all last minute needs for current clients. A charge of $10.00 may apply to any last minute changes due to paperwork, scheduling and other items that are required to accommodate the request.

If you are not a current client, Due to paperwork, scheduling and the process of our new client setup, we require at least 48 hours notice to accommodate your request. Anything less than 48 hours that we are able to accommodate will require a $35.00 rush fee for set up. This includes all paperwork. If it has not reached us 48 hours prior to your first visit, it is considered a rush setup.
