While I grew up in Northern Virginia my whole life, my entire family is from mid-Missouri. But I’ve always had my beloved pets there by side anytime I needed them.

I have worked with people my whole life and I just love to interact with them and interact with animals. I have actively taken care of my own pets as well as the pets of other family members and friends my whole life. I am currently in college to pursue a career in social work, as I have a big heart and would love to “give back” to the world as much as I can.

I have had many varieties of pets including hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, cats, and dogs. And I can definitely say that dogs are my true favorite and would do just about anything to get that white Pomeranian like I have always wanted.

My little bundle of joy that I have had for years now is named Tony. He is a sweet and lovable Airedale Terrier that I don’t think I could live without.

Originally from Arizona, I am definitely and outdoorsy, western girl at heart! I was a professional meeting planner in the area for 12 years until shortly after my husband and I decided to start our own family. I have been a stay at home/work at home mom to my 9 year old son, Miles and 6 year old daughter, Morgan for the past five years, and was looking for an opportunity to make a little extra money, while still being able to focus on my duties as a mom and wife. I love this! I grew up with a menagerie of animals all my life until I moved to the DC area. I don’t remember a time when we didn’t have at least two dogs, and usually three or four – plus we always had a cat or two, hamsters, fish, birds, lizards, and whatever else landed at our doorstep! I have definitely missed having animals in my life, and this is the perfect solution since my husband isn’t so keen on pets (though he does tolerate our house bunny, Sally, since she doesn’t bark and he doesn’t have to change the litter!) My kids love to come with me to walk dogs when school is out and I have a great time with my four-legged friends – and still have the time I want to spend with my kids, husband, PTA duties, etc.
