Born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Chesterfield, VA, I relocated to the Northern VA area 5 years ago and currently reside and work in Reston. I've always loved animals and grew up with our family dog Lisa (RIP May 2002) and now have two of my own dogs (pictured), Alix (12 years) and Jax (2 years). My entire immediate family has a total of 4 dogs and 1 cat so needless to say, the holidays make for interesting gathering times with 4 4-legged creatures begging for food and affection.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets and making sure that your babies are well taken care of when you are not around. All pet owners know that pets are truly members of the family and you want to make sure they are always well cared for.

I've lived in Northern Virginia for most of my life and grew up with at least one pet at all times. My cat was my best friend and confidante through my early years at Virginia Tech. After his passing, I got my first dog; a red-nosed pitbull named Tex. He was "my boy" and stuck by me through even the worst of times. I did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong in raising him, but in the end he was the best dog I'll ever know. We "lost" him last year to cancer; after 6 months of treatment, he finally looked at my husband and I with the "I'm tired" eyes; it was the hardest thing I had to do, letting him go. He lived a great life of 14 years though and is "survived" by his younger brother, a Rottweiler named Yoshi who turns 7 this year.

We recently adopted a friend's dog named Coby; he is a Chocolate lab, German Shepherd, Husky mix who will be 2 this year. Coby has been my cuddle-bug since we lost Tex and has his own quirks and personality flaws that make him a different challenge, but we love him all the same.

Our dogs have stolen our hearts! I love pet-sitting and dog walking because I get to meet so many other wonderful furbabies and I hope to meet yours too!

While I was born in San Diego, CA, I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I relocated to Virginia in 1994 to be with my husband. I was a store manager for a dance and theatrical shop for many years until it closed. I am an avid photographer - most of the photos I take are of my pets and my children.

I have always loved animals but was never able to have any pets while growing up. As soon as I could I adopted a cat, named Ernie, while I lived in Rego Park, NY. Ernie came with me to Virginia. He has since passed away (RIP Ernie), and we subsequently adopted two cats, Nick and Nora, brother and sister and now 13 years old. Five years ago we adopted a German Shepherd mix from a local rescue organization, a puppy named Sabrina. She is my first dog and I adore her. I have two human children, Danielle and Geoffrey, 11 year old twins, alongside my three furry children.

I can't imagine life without my little furballs, and I look forward to taking care of your special family members when you are not around.

I was born and raised here in Northern Virginia.

I attended George Mason University and graduated in 1998 with a BA in History. I have been around animals my whole life, especially dogs, from the time my folks bought me my first pup, an abandoned German Sheperd/Doberman mix when I was 6 years old.

Currently I split time between my roommates Lab and my sisters' Boxers, Yorkies and Beagle! Before joining YDS, I worked in a number of different industries including security and the restaurant business but now that I get to spend all day with four-legged clients, I couldn't be happier! One of the things I am most proud of is the time I spent in New Orleans helping the workers find, care for and reunite the pets lost after Katrina. When I'm not hanging out with my pups you can find me on the soccer field or hiking and camping in the woods.

Originally from New Jersey,  I have been living in Florida for the past 14 years and have recently relocated to Leesburg.  I'm a freelance writer, of mostly history and poetry, who has always had a passion for animals and animal rescue.  Finally making that dream come true,  I am currently working towards my certification as a dog trainer.  Additionally, I am a Reiki Master Teacher accomplished in Animal Reiki. The love of my life is my trusty sidekick Sancho, a Golden Retriever mix whom I adopted almost four years ago.  Sancho has remained loyally by my side through many escapades, yet there is still plenty of room in my heart and in my life for your pets.   I look forward to many new adventures  caring for your cherished companions as if they were my own!
