Your Dog Smiles is currently looking for animal lovers that would enjoy spending your days being active and outdoors. 

Your Dog Smiles is in search of professional, friendly, pet loving individuals who are reliable for mid-day dog walks, evening and weekend dog walks, overnight pet sits and dog runs.    These professionals should look forward to walking, caring, and playing for peoples pets while they are away.

Our company began in January 2008 with the goal of offering a professional, reliable service while still keeping that personal touch so that clients can feel comfortable and at ease knowing that their pets are in great hands while they are away.

 Our Current Openings Include:

Full and part time mid day dog walkers.  A mid day dog walker should be available Monday thru Friday between the hours of 10am and 4pm to provide a walk while owners are away. 

Mid day positions open in:  Reston, Sterling, Great Falls, Arlington, Vienna, Fairfax, Oakton, Burke, Chantilly, Falls Church and Oakhill. 

Evening/Weekend and Non-Overnight Pet Sitters position open in all of our service area.

Overnight Pet Sitters stay overnight in the client’s home from 8pm to 8am with morning and evening feedings/walks. 

Overnight Positions open in all of our service area.

Bed and Biscuit - Pups stay in your home as part of your family.  Your own dogs can not have any aggression or health issues that could cause issues with a clients pup.  You must own your home or be able to provide a letter of approval and contact info from your land lord.   Your home should be tidy and provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the clients pup.  

Bed and Biscuit service open in all of our service areas.   

Dog Runner - Should be able to run at least a 5K. 

Currently looking for a mid day runner on Tuesday and Thursdays in Falls Church.

Pay is based on the job. 

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

• Have availability for the position you apply.
• Genuinely love and have experience caring for dogs, cats and other small pets.
• Be honest, responsible and reliable.  you will have to submit a Full Criminal Background Check.
• Be able to make at least a 6 month commitment, 1 year preferred.
• Be in good physical condition.
• Have a clean and respectable appearance.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Have a dependable car, an excellent driving record and a valid driver's license.
• FRIENDLY personality!!!
• Great communication skills as we communicate with our clients DAILY through notes, email and phone.
• This job requires attention to details, attention to direction, organization and time management.  So please carefully read the details below.   

Our Sitters work as Independent Contractors.    

Each of our sitters must pass a criminal background check  before they can begin work.

Please no calls about this position.  It is not that we do not want to talk to you.   We just don't always work in the office, as we are very hands on, so calling us to check the status of your application will only result in us asking you to please send an email so we can look up your info while we are in the office.  We are also happy to answer your questions about our company or the position, but please email us at sitters@yourdogsmiles.com over a phone call as its much easier for us to respond this way.
