We offer a range of services from mid-day dog walks/visits, weekend visits, cat sitting, pet sitting, bed and biscuit and more.  You can see our list and rates on our Services page.

Yes we offer both pay as you go and monthly plans. 

Yes, in order to protect you, your pet and our sitters we require all of our sitters to be introduced to your pet in your pet(s) own setting(your house). This also gives you the opportunity to meet us and us meet you. You will be able to provide all the in person details to properly care for your home and your pet. For pet sits and dog walks we may be taking your dog on a 5-10 minute walk to see how the dog does with the sitter out of your presence. The meet and greet is a $20.00 fee.

* For Bed and Biscuit Service we require a meeting at the B&B and in some cases a trial night.

Yes,  when we started Your Dog Smiles we were focused on mid-day dog walks and had no idea that pet sitting and cat sitting would be a need.  Maybe we should have called ourself Your Pet Smiles : )   We offer a 15, 30 and 45 minute visit for cat sitting and we must visit your cat(s) at least once within a 24 hour period from the day you leave until the day you return. 

We offer In-client home pet sitting,  Overnight pet sitting and Bed and Biscuit Service.   For more info on these options please visit our Services page.

For non-pet sit services we ask for at least 24 hours notice to avoid fee. Any non-pet sit services that are cancelled within 24 hours, a fee equal to the price of service, may be received if we are unable to provide adequate notice to our sitters. For pet sits, deposits are non-refundable unless the sitter can reschedule the time lost.

We do ask for at least 2 sets to keep on hand.  If you prefer us to not keep keys, we recommend a lock box. More info on this is enclosed with our new client set up. 

For your safety no keys are labeled with addresses. Your main sitter will keep a copy, your backup sitter will keep a copy and/or we will keep a copy locked up in our office in a non-disclosed location.

 This is not safe for anyone, therefore we must have access to your home by either pre-arranged key, lock box or garage code.

 All of our pet sitters have their own extension within our company voicemail. You can call these extensions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Found by pressing 9 in the phone menu or the number next to your sitters name on the schedule.) Some sitters will also provide their cell phone numbers, we let them decide on that since these are their personal phones.

Yes, in fact with some of our services we do this automatically.  

At each visit your sitter will leave you a detailed note of activites.

We require all pets to have current rabies vaccinations and licenses(where applicable).  For Bed and Biscuit service we require Bordetella and DHPP.

Our services are per-client services.   We will only walk your dog(s) at time of visit. 

 To keep everyone safe and to avoid confrontation we do not socialize dogs during walks/visits.

We do the best we can to accommodate all last minute needs for current clients. A charge of $10.00 may apply to any last minute changes due to paperwork, scheduling and other items that are required to accommodate the request.

If you are not a current client, Due to paperwork, scheduling and the process of our new client setup, we require at least 48 hours notice to accommodate your request. Anything less than 48 hours that we are able to accommodate will require a $35.00 rush fee for set up.

This varies from service to service.  We keep a card onfile for each client.   More options and info is available upon request. 

Yes, documentation of this can be provided upon request.
